Poetry
"One Night Stand in Wonderland" by Hotwireduterus
In "One Night Stand in Wonderland," Hotwireduterus leads us through a drunken night of wonder and mild confusion. The word-choice and visuals he delivers, and the structure, is definitely enough to make him one of Aeria Gloris's April Features!

"Profoundly" by Jgader
In this piece, Jgader leads her readers through her tempermental reality. She weaves in such amazing examples and imagery that even the harsh reality of the poem takes a backseat to the beauty of it all.

In this piece, Tahlaera delivers one simple message to her readers: the world is cold, and it sees you.

Its amazing how Capsize-Beautiful is able to describe all of life's ups and downs by simply describing writing on a palm.

In this short piece of fiction, xx-wardrums plays on those misfortunes that turn into our biggest fears. A complete mindtrip, through and through, this is a wonderfully written prose that is sure to suck any reader in.

"Goodnight" by Devoutly-Doodlistic
In this short work of prose, Devoutly-Doodlistic resurrects an innocence within her readers, while having an ever-present feeling of guilt and pain. At first glance, this piece may seem very simple and straight-forward, but when you take a closer look, its laced with details that are hidden deep beneath the surface, maybe even from the author herself.

"Gut Buster" by Jack Sprat
Have you ever been disturbed, but completely intrigued at the same time? Well, brace yourself for that exact feeling. In "Gut Busters," Sprat introduces us to a female who just can't seem to control herself, but its just so damn beautiful!

"The Year in Park City" by DeeJayPip
One word: nostalgia. To anyone that's ever lost anything, or left anything behind, this prose piece is the embodiment of those feelings. Both incredibly gripping and incredibly poignant, DeeJayPip grabs on to memories and shakes them to the core.

"Visions" by Emily
This is a very simple, very short piece of writing, based around one of the most widely used topics ever to be written. But still, she captures a feeling that the reader can really relate to, and brings new levels of emotion to the table. Brilliantly written.

Lyricism
"I'll Forgive When I Forget" by Child-In-Pieces
Upon the first read-through, "I'll Forgive When I Forget" may seem a little bland; nothing special. But when you go through a second time, and really comprehend what you're reading, its so amazing and deep that I just had to feature it! Child-In-Pieces wrote a piece that proves true the quote, "first impressions aren't always correct."

"Down and Loaded" by Nymphoproblematic
Nymphoproblematic, in this piece of lyricism, describes the features of alcoholism, and also, in some ways, the stages of life. He also describes, to some extent, the battle between life and death, though maybe even he doesn't realize this.

"No Matter Where I Am" by MindyMouse
Though this piece is based on an extremely overused topic, MindyMouse still makes it so that the readers are able to find something different; something special.

"A Set of Strings" by EvergreenGardens
When I read this lyrics, I feel Spain or Italy in the Springtime, when the street-performers are strumming on their guitars, and the dancers and dancing, and the singers are singing. And that, to me, is beautiful.

Photography
"Take Flight" by DansPhotography
Dan's "Take Flight" piece shows a beautiful collage of transformations, if you look hard enough. From day to night. From Winter to Spring. From fight to flight.

"I Wish: Simplicity 3" by HakanPhotography
At first glance, this girl looked too much like a made up little doll, but at second glance, we start to see something different. Though she is made to look sort of dainty and frail, she has the full sleeve tattoo, and the eyes that slant just right so that she looks somewhere between holy and plain pissed off. Also, look at her stance. Her knees are turned in and her toes are almost touching. This is usually common in very strong people, who were once very meek and introverted. Strange as it sounds, her stance actually makes her appear as very intelligent and persistant. Aside from Miyo-chan there, the setting is completely brilliant. Its so busy and slanted and intrusive and monochromatic, but then, there is this beautiful, strong girl. Its as if the picture is saying "you can't give up. You can change your world."

"Here's Lurking At You, Kid" by Gilad
In this photo, there is a sort of dark and sort of scary vibe from the staircase and the colouration of it all. But then, in complete contrast, we see this fluffy cat peeking in at us.

"Transformation" by Odnakotuta
A dark and very abstract piece, "Transformation" is one of those photographs that you can interpret a million different ways.

Computer drawing
"::Soul Fragmentation::" by Meisan
In this lovely bit of artwork, Meisan shows us what its like to look through and really see someone. By this, I mean that the technique in this drawing draws the eye to the face of the character and we get to take in all of the wonderful details.

"Watching Over You" by Shilin
Using two characters from her original manga [Blackbird], Shilin draws a beautiful and comforting piece that just makes you think, "all right, now. Everything can't be that bad. Its going to be okay. We'll make it through this." Incredibly warm and inviting, but also with a hint of sadness.

"She's the Night" by Shirotsuki
A very dark, very drawling piece. Wonderful.

"Silver Lining" by Jisuk Cho
In this drawing, we see Jisuk's original character, Demos, walking along, in the snow, at night, all by himself, with the darkened city in the background. Depressing, right? BUT, in a humourous cameo, there's a little friend closeby.

Computer animation
"The Virus" by EmptyShadow
Don't you just love it when you get those "click here to see what you've won" pop-ups on your computer screen? Well, this is that, to the extreme! We must commend EmptyShadow for the entertaining [and somewhat disturbing] piece of animation here.

I could play this game for hours and hours! With incredibly cute drawings and a simple [yet addictive!] goal, this is definitely a game that anyone could fall in love with.

"Here's Booby" by Elton Portilho
A new [and slightly more disturbing] twist on an American classic, Elton takes Stephen King to a level he should probably never go to.

"An Easter Flash" by Neekko
Even though Neekko--a college student working toward a degree in Interactive Media in Hawaii--has little art dealing in animation, but did a great job on this one! Though it may be simple and repititious, its completely entertaining and something you can have fun staring at for long periods of time.

Painting
"Kola" by J.P. Edstrand
Technically, this is more of a sculpture, but the painting is so interesting and wonderful that I HAD to put it as a painting.

"Blank Canvas" by Charlotte Cullen
In this brilliant crafted piece by Charlotta Cullen [currently in her first year at Bilborough College], the observer is able to look into the eyes of the subject and see a number of things. This is a great quality to art, as to we can make it whatever we want!

A seemingly simple piece, until you look closer, AND take into account that it is fashioned from blown glass. Intricate and graceful, and definitely a beautiful piece.

"Satyr" by Noadi
At first glance, this sculpture is cute enough, but once you look closer and see all of the little, bitty, tiny details that make the piece amazing. One of the best pieces of its kind that I've seen so far.

"Creature" by GhostAlice
Though a little rough around the edges, this piece, overall, is very detailed and amazing. Its a type of creature that one could imagine living in the local swimming pool, or the bathtub!
